Mesotherapy was developed in Paris, by a French doctor in 1952. Using micro-injections of specific formulations of vitamins, minerals, pharmaceuticals and homeopathic remedies, and can be utilised to treat a variety of cosmetic and medical conditions. At Beauty Elements Clinic we concentrate on mesotherapy’s benefits for facial rejuvenation and scalp treatment.

Mesotherapy is a non-surgical process and clients can return to their daily routines immediately after the treatment. A series of micro-injections deposit a serum directly into the mesoderm of the skin enabling a restructuring of facial tissue. The vitamins contained in the serum give positive effects to the biological balance of the skin, the amino acids provide better construction of protein and coenzymes activate the biological reactions that create a more youthful skin tone. The minerals guarantee the ionic balance of the skin.

Facial rejuvenation benefits

During the ageing process, skin condition will suffer due to the effects of exposure to sunlight and can be affected by poor diet and changes to our hormonal imbalance. The 56 ingredients contained in the serum used for facial rejuvenation, including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids, help improve skin texture, combat fine lines, reduce puffiness and improve moisturisation. The treatment leaves a client with a clear and attractive complexion. Rejuvenation is usually performed in an initial series of two to four treatment spaced four week apart. You can continue with a few sessions per year, this is a real benefit as the effects are cumulative.

Hair loss and regrowth

The serum used is a rejuvenating agent (containing vitamins, amino acids and minerals) which is administered directly into the scalp and is helpful in nourishing the hair and stimulating the follicles. An initial series of ten sessions of treatment are required and these are carried out every three to four weeks. This is followed by one session monthly for six months and a maintenance session of one treatment after that. The treatment involves a series of superficial injections in the scalp. Three effects occur when using this treatment, the injections penetrate the epidermal layer creating hundreds of tiny channels which allow the serum to be absorbed into the dermis. The injections also stimulate blood flow to the hair follicles and gently exfoliate excess skins cells which contribute to hair follicle malnutrition.
